Great as individual special pieces, such as Hnefatafl kings; as upgrades for simpler pieces; or in your own designed games. Base diameter 1", best-suited to a game board with 1 1/4" squares. As these pieces are individually made, from a variety of sustainably-sourced northern temperate hardwoods (including oak, ash and beech), there will be some minor variation in colour and thickness, though diameter of the pieces is consistent. Pieces are sanded but unvarnished.
