Our Basins are manufactured from carefully constructed TEMPERED GLASS. Ordinary glass breaks at about 6000 pounds per square inch while our TEMPERED glass can withstand much more and is 4-5 times stronger than normal glass. TEMPERED GLASS is strong and safe and is usually used in Oven Door applications and also Cookware and Furniture. We mix our glass at a ratio 63 % silica sand, 22% soda and 15% limestone and heat to 1,200 degrees Celsius. This quality mix ensures that only the finest TEMPERED GLASS is created. We use a float process to make a single sheet and mold this around our template whilst reducing the heat from 1200 degrees to approx 600 degrees. The creation of the mold is skillful and our workers are very experienced Craftsmen. Once molded, we allow the glass to cool completely, make our waste hole and then reheat it in a Kiln to at least 650 degrees. We then remove the glass again and subject it to blasts of cool air from fixed and rotating nozzles to cool the glass down to a temperature of 200 to 300 degrees Celsius. We carefully examine the effects of the rapid cooling on the glass. By cooling the glass over the area we want, we create an initial compression on its surface. This initial compression stress process done over and over again enables the glass to hold superior strength. Each basin is a vision of inspiration and involves a high level of skill and technique. The individual character of each glass piece shines through on all EARTH STONE basins and reflects the individual character of the materials from which it was molded as well as inspires all who see its splendor.

Our craftsman knows the exact coloring mix and we can create many glass basins alike if required.  Our designs are many are varied with beautiful coloration. We spend quality time in this manufacturing process. All our basins are created perfect and symmetrical. The skilled workmanship that goes into these basins is unbelievable. The basins are then polished to a fine shine and remain endlessly beautiful in form and appearance. 

The basins are completely waterproof - so are not porous.

These basins will not leak, nor crack - they will last a lifetime and beyond.

How will your item be packaged

• All basins are packed with foam, bubble wrap and strapped where required.  Toilets suites are sent on a skid pallet and strapped accordingly.
• For smaller items, we use prepaid 500g and 3kg EBAY satchels which are sent via Australia Post. 

 Method of Payment 

• All buyers are requested to arrange payment or contact is to be made within 3 business days after purchase.
• PAYPAL
• BANK DEPOSIT (Westpac Banking Corporation) – Details provided at Checkout. (Please insert your eBay ID as reference when using Internet Banking and the last 4 digits of the item number when you deposit funds over the Counter.
• CREDIT CARD and EFTPOS (Visa/MasterCard/debit) available at our warehouse.
• CREDIT CARD over the phone.  
• CASH at pickup.
• (Money Order/Bank Cheques) – Collection or Postage of Items will occur once payment has cleared which usually takes up to 4 business days after payment has been deposited.
• No handling or loading charges are levied for pick up from our warehouse.
• If you arrange your own courier and we are required to pack or wrap goods a $20 handling fee will be charged.
• Items paid for with PayPal can not be picked up by customers.  PayPal only accepts electronic tracking.  PayPal does not accept member’s written acknowledgement of receipt of goods.

 Postage 

• Item will not be shipped until payment has been received in full and presented as clear funds.  It will then be shipped within 1-3 business days after clearance has been confirmed.      
• A tracking number can be provided upon request.
• Multiple items will be charged for combined postage and will be packed accordingly to minimize shipping costs.  Please contact us for bulk postage quote.
• If you live in a remote area of Australia as classified by Australia Post, we reserve the right to re-quote the listed postage charges on your item purchase.  Please email us prior to purchasing your item if you require an exact postage quote.
• We do not accept PO Boxes for Courier sent items.  Please supply a physical address for delivery.
• We also require a contact phone number for all purchases to complete your booking with the Courier.
• ALL Couriered items are sent via a ‘receipted delivery’ service.  The receiver must sign to accept the goods.
• Local pickup from our warehouse is available. 
• EBay is not our only online portal, hence we urge you to contact us prior to ordering items to avoid any disappointment as stock can not be guaranteed to be available at the time of purchase.
• If the item is not in stock, we will contact you to find an alternative solution.
• PLEASE NOTE OUR ADDITIONAL LARGE ITEMS SHIPPING INFORMATION.

Large Items - Shipping Information/Postage (INTERSTATE) 

• Large Items include: Toilets, Shower screens, Bathtubs etc..
• For our Interstate Customers, send large items via courier on a pallet/skid.  We do not organise Insurance for these items and will not accept any responsibility. We DO NOT organise shipping or provide transport Insurance for large items as listed above.
• You are more than welcome to organise your own Courier for the shipment of any large items and we will be more than happy to assist them to pack, label and load in preparation for transport.
• Please contact us beforehand to confirm pickup from your requested transport company as we prefer to have goods collected on a Wednesday between 1.00pm and 5.00pm.

• Internet companies such as SMARTSEND, E Go, ALLIED EXPRESS and TNT are all transport companies that can assist you in your enquiries and provide you with a cost to transport your goods AUSTRALIA WIDE.
• We do not take any responsibility for damage to items caused in transit from your allocated courier.

Large Items - Shipping Information/Postage (MELBOURNE METRO)

• For an extra fee of $55.00 per total order, we can transport your item throughout the Melbourne Metro Area.

Postage Insurance

• We can arrange postage insurance for your items at an additional cost.
• We will assist you in any way possible in an event of a claim.  Insurance claim processes may take a long time due to the policy procedure of the Courier Company and Insurance Company. 
• To ensure the buyer can claim the cost of lost and damage from freight company, the buyer would need to do the following:           
• Check the item immediately before you sign on the delivery note with the couriers.
• DO NOT sign it if the item is damaged.
• Report to the Courier Company and us within 24 hours if item is damaged.
• Provide evidence of damaged item to Courier Company.  
• Ceramic, Glass and Marble Items can not be covered.
• Failure to follow the instructions above will risk a claim rejection.

Warranty

• Products are covered by a 1 Year Manufacturer Replacement Warranty.
• The warranty covers a manufacturer defect.
• It is the customers' responsibility to ensure that the items are installed by a licensed/professional.
• Warranty claims require three emailed photos of the damage from different angles.
• Photos are to be emailed.
• Defects or damages from abnormal use, unauthorized repairs, alterations, improper installation, serviced incorrectly, altered, modified, tampered, converted, repaired and other acts which are not the fault of BATHROOM SUPERSTORE Pty. Ltd. will not be covered by warranty.

Return and Exchange Policy 

• Customers can return or exchange goods for a refund within 7 days after the sale date.
• All postage costs including any return postage fees are to be paid by the customer.
• Items returned will be subject to a restocking fee of 20%. 
• Customers must contact us prior to shipping the goods back.
• Items must be returned in their original packaging and in original condition. 
• All items will be thoroughly checked upon receipt.
