This cable is a 1m (100cm) RJ11 to RJ11 made with Cat 6 patch cable. It is used between your adsl micro filter (or adsl faceplate/vdsl faceplate) and your adsl (or vdsl) modem/router.

It is far superior to the flat adsl cables which are often sold and supplied with routers as this cable uses cat6 rated cable which has the twisted 4 pairs which are divided by a plastic cross which seperates each pair through the length of the cable so it blocks out interference which can degrade the signal. It only has 2 pairs connected because in this instance it is used for a rj11 cable which only has 4 contacts. (also known as 6P4C)
