As in many tribal societies the feminine cycles were linked to the phases of the moon. The Moon was important in ancient calendars, helping people to measure time and to determine when the best time was for planting and harvesting crops.
The necklace has a beautiful fancy Goddess harvest Moon. The moon is about an inch long, and the chain is about 18 inches long. The chain is a fancy silver plated snake chain. I have earrings listed to match this necklace. You can see the size compared to the USA nickle.

I try to ship 24 to 48 hours after receiving payment. I'm pretty reasonable about shipping quickly. I only ship Monday through Friday. I do not ship on weekends. Weekends also do not count as shipping days.The shipping charges include my supplies. They also include a tracking number as I have had too many "not received" items.
