Replaces the Factory Fitted Magneti Marelli ACI100.01 CDI on 50cc and 100cc machines.
Important NOTE: This CDI is for scooters fitted with a Mechanical Fuel Pump.
It will also work with electric fuel pump models, but on those scooters you may have to Pre-Mix the oil with your fuel.

If you are having problems with your Peugeot scooters immobiliser or have a CDI fault (no spark, or won't rev) then this is the simplest solution. Once fitted you will no longer require a key with a built in chip. The scooter will NOT HAVE AN IMMOBILISER or a REV LIMITER.
Have you changed the barrel and keys on your scooter leaving it permanently immobilized? Then you can fit this CDI unit and it will run!
Please check that there are no other issues with your ignition system first, this will only solve your problems if they are CDI related!
NOTE: THE TIMING CURVE ON THIS CDI IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR 2 STROKE ENGINES, 50cc and 100cc.

This is NOT a suitable replacement for the AEC400 CDi fitted to some older Peugeot scooters. Please check the model number on your existing CDI unit.
INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the body work to gain access to your Peugeot ACI100 CDI unit. On the Speedfight the CDI unit is located behind the leg shields Disconnect the two connectors from the existing ACI 100 Cdi and then remove the unit by undoing the two bolts. Plug the replacement CDI into the larger of the two connectors, the smaller connector is no longer required. Mount the new CDI to the frame using the existing bolts. Re-attach your bodywork and off you go!
WARNING: Many aftermarket CDI units have the same outer appearance because many manufacturers use the same outer casing. However, the inner workings, most importantly the Spark Timing, can vary by up to 30 degrees between manufacturers and the applictation that the cdi is intended for. We have imported the Cdi unit you are buying here specifically because it has a timing curve suitable for small 2 Stroke scooter engines, as fitted to many Peugeot Speed fight, Elyseo and Trekker scooters.
All CDi units are tested on a working scooter prior to despatch to ensure they are working.
