THIS IS A NEW FORD A4LD,4R44E, 4R55E, 5R55E TRANSMISSION FILTER SERVICE KIT. THIS KIT INCLUDES A NEW 4x4 DEEP PAN FILTER WITH A NEW CORK PAN GASKET AND THE TWO FILTER O-RINGS.
THIS IS A HALF METAL/HALF PLASTIC SECOND DESIGN FILTER WITH A ROUND 4X4 INLET. IT DOES WORK IN PLACE OF THE 1986-1988 FILTER WITH A SQUARE INLET. THIS WILL NOT WORK IN FIRST PRODUCTION 1985 A4LD TRANSMISSIONS AS THE SIZE OF THE O-RING SEAL TO VALVE BODY IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT.
