This toolset is intended to assist in the installation of 1.5" modern sealed bearing type headset crown races ( base plates ). The aluminum driver will prevent damage to the race during installation. The tube is ABS plastic, 12" long and is intended to be struck with a soft hammer or mallet only. We have found that it doesn't take much force to seat the race, but it is important that the force is applied evenly. We chose a plastic tube prevent damage and keep the cost of the tube and shipping low.
