1963 Milwaukee Braves program - The Braves and Cubs closed out the 1963 season with a three-game series at Milwaukee's County Stadium.  After going through another futile season, the Cubs managed to win two of the three games, and Warren Spahn closed out the season on a winning note for the Braves, tossing a 2-0 beauty.

Cal Koonce and Dick Ellsworth were the winning pitchers for the Cubs.

The benches were packed with players, as both teams had called up a number of minor leaguers for the last month of the season.  33 players are listed on the Braves roster, and there are 31 on the Cubs roster.  In the final game, Spahn outdueled old teammate Bob Buhl for his 23rd win of the season, and Hank Aaron belted his 44th homer of the year to give Spahn the only run he needed.
