Q. What colour does it go?
A. Your tattoo will start orange and develop to a traditional red/brown within the first 24 hours.
Q Is this PPD? The so-called black henna that is harmful?
A. No it is NOT PPD (paraphenylenediamine) It is natural brown
henna. however we do recommend, as with all cosmetics, that you do a
patch test before use.
Q. What is Henna and where does it come from?
A. It is made from the leaves of the Henna plant (Lawsonia
inermis), which are dried and ground into a fine powder then mixed
with a catalyst to create a paste. Henna comes from Asia, North Africa
and the Middle East.

A. On average 10-15 days, but as it's a natural product it may
have slight variations due to skin type and where it is on the body.
Q. Do I have to mix up the paste myself?
A. No it is all done for you; all you have to do is create your tattoo.
Q.I applied the henna paste, it dried and crumbled off, but my henna tattoo is very light orange, why is this?
A.Don't panic. Henna takes 12-24 hours to develop to its full colour!
Q. Does it hurt?
A. No it's totally pain free.
Q. Will it work on dark skin?
A. Henna is a natural brown colour so may not be suitable for darker skin tones.
Q. Where on my body will it work?
A.Most of the body apart from the face, as we don't recommend henna for use near your eyes or other sensitive parts!
Q. Will Henna stain clothes and furnishings?
A. Yes but only while still wet or if any residue is left on the
skin. Please be very careful when applying Henna and waiting for your
tattoo to dry.
