This series of 10 volumes preserves the finest Civil War photographs available in the early 1900's. It brings the trials and hardships of that war clearly into focus for those of us who are insulated by our modern conveniences. The work contains thousands of images that constitute an important source on the war's appearance- its battlefields, common soldiers, officers, forts, diseases, camp scenes, army movements, and materiel.

All these titles are long out of print, and have been scanned by various organisations around the globe. All these books are scans of the original books from Library collections (and 100 years old), therefore, you might get marks, scratches, some text written on it (usually pencil), all sort of things which were done to the books by the Public in the library during the last 100 years. 99% of the pages & illustrations/drawings are intact.

You will need a PDF reader like Abobe Reader.

These are not paper-white copies of e-books, these titles are 100 years old, and these pdf’s are scans of the original books.
