This is a Gentex 261 Auto-dim with compass and temp. This is the two-line display that shows both at the same time! It is in excellent to perfect condition. These 261's were originally installed in '03-'06 GM trucks and suvs with Onstar on the overhead console. It can be installed in ANY vehicle with a standard wedge mount mirror. It will come with the harness pigtail for the mirror, a functioning temp sensor, and wiring instructions, plus I will also answer any install questions you may have. It has been fully tested and will be set to your location, and calibration will only require pressing one button and driving a couple circles in a parking lot, or around the block a time or two. This mirror is an easy installation for anyone with some basic auto wiring experience, with only 4 wires to hook up. All you will need is some extra wire(a small pkg of 18-24ga is plenty) and basic knowledge of wiring. Thanks for looking!

This mirror can come with or without the airbag notification text on the front/ Let me know which you prefer when ordering.
For non-airbag orders, you will either get the solid glass with no lower cutout, or I will modify(internally) to leave only the black lower cutout with no visible text.
The airbag display is only needed on late model GM vehicles that currently have the airbag notification on the original mirror, otherwise it has no use, and you will not want it.
This mirror is as good or better than the popular 177 models in my honest opinion.
IF YOU ARENT SURE WHAT "basic knowledge of auto wiring" is, THEN YOU PROBABLY DONT HAVE IT. That being said, this is as basic of an install as you can have. If you can wire up an amp(about the same procedure since you'll be running the temp sensor wires through the firewall, except your power doesn't come from the battery; it comes from wherever is easiest to locate (with a test light). Every car is different, and there's no one right way to do any install. You have pretty much unlimited different paths to take. If you can run wire through to the front of the car, crimp wires, and test your source wires; then you have all the needed skills. I am happy to answer hundreds of questions and take multiple calls from customers who need technical assistance. I'll do everything I can to advise(and even teach) anyone who needs help; but that is at your own risk. I promise to deliver you a functional mirror with all the info you need for proper function. I'm not saying I can turn you into a qualified installer; although I have done that countless times. Camsmirrors will not be held liable for any damage that is caused by your installation. By buying any item not advertised as "plug and play", you are expected to know how to add an electrical accessory to a vehicle or take it to someone who can. I am still available pretty much 365 days a year to quickly respond to any questions you or your installer may have.
And another thing....adding a mirror to your new car WILL NOT void any factory warranty. I hear that from customers way too often. It's just simply untrue. If it were true, the electrical automotive aftermarket would not exist. There's way more risk involved in alarms, stereo systems, and the many other customizations that people have been doing to new cars for decades.
