Compatibility lists supplied by eBay for Renault models are incomplete and misleading.

Renault Clio tailgate badge to fit mk1 phase II models from 1996 to 1998 and mk2 models from 1998 to 2006.

 The badge is used and has two pins on the back 85mm apart.

 The Renault part number is; 7700849001. 

This is a genuine Renault part not a 'new' after market mock up so it will fit.
