KERSHAW “USA” Composite Blade Leek 1660CB

Here we have the Composite Blade LEEK Spring Assisted Knife with Safety Lock, designed by Ken Onion with SpeedSafe Technology and “Made in USA” by Kershaw (model: 1660CB). The wavy copper line you see running through the blade is where the brazing permanently joins the D2 ("Tool Steel") cutting-edge to the Sandvik 14C28N Stainless Steel spine of blade. Handle is made of a solid non-reflective 410 Stainless Steel, has Lanyard Hole and a Safety Slider that locks blade securely in the closed position. Blade color matches the handle and is made of high carbon D2 Tool Steel and Sandvik 14C28N Stainless Steel. Blade opens with the ambidextrous thumb stud (old school) or the modern “Finger-Flipper”. Blade locks in the fully open position, uses a Frame-Lock release to close the blade. Once blade is closed, there is a Safety Slider on the lower back-side of handle that keeps blade locked securely in the closed position.
