Carnelian
Super strong, fully metal-coated reel, for which there are not too difficult tasks. One of the Ryobi's flagship models, designed and built in Japan for the biggest fish and the most difficult conditions of sea fisheries (full corrosion protection).
Hauling the largest cods is for this reel is just a warm-up. The only "opponents" in European waters that allow Carnelian to show its full potential are the largest three-digit catfish, and large halibuts. The reel is perfect for popping in the sea as it was designed to the method for the toughest saltwater fishing.
The power of a drag that is equipped with carbon pads is 15 kg (measured at full spool), conforming to the standards of fishing even for one-hundred kilogram fish. With its large size it has good ergonomics. A large comfortable handle with a knob offers a strong and firm grip. With up to two unidirectional thrust bearings it is not possible for the reel to work "backward" even under extreme load.
