This is a very rare and beautifully designed sales booklet -  a new book, reprinted from the original, with semi-gloss covers and high quality paper throughout. This is not a photocopy - the booklet is reprinted as it would have appeared when first released. A well designed booklet first released in 1936 in California by Caterpillar Tractor Co. to coincide with the launch of the Diesel RD4. 12 pages, with drawings and photographs showing the the two tractors in great detail.  Features include expanded drawings and specifications for standard release machines as well as a diagram of the regular and wide-gauge Thirties and cutaway details of the engine interiors.
