This copy from the renowned collection of Philadelphia magician, hypnotist, escape artist and bibliophile, Stanley Sokeitous, whose ubiquitous script stamp can be found throughout the book, as well as a photographic stamp to the front pastedown. On the rear pastedown is the ticket of magician, illusionist and hypnotist, Prof. Silas Wetherby Blakenbaker, and another previous owner, Sam Harris, from Los Angeles, CA. Remnants of a tipped in newspaper clipping now gone also on pastedown. A wonderful association copy for collectors of books on magic and the occult. No copies in either the trade or OCLC. Scarce.
