A Fairly Unique Magnesium Fire Making Block with an Attached key chain, it has a Recessed Fire Starter Rod on one side of the magnesium block and the entire survival piece measures in at just (3" Long X 1" Wide X 5/16" Thick). You will have the ability to use the included Scraping/Striking Knife to both Scrap Magnesium shavings onto your tinder pile to effectively and very easily lighting it. The recessed Striker rod is attached to one side of the Magnesium block, it's a sure bet that you'll master this Fire Making technique rather quickly. It can be used in emergency situations and everyday camping chores for cooking or simply keeping warm, while fending off unwelcomed guests such as Bears and/or Cougars. Either way you'll have what it takes to keep yourself and your loved and friends safe and warm in the most rigorous of situations.

 It comes in the original SE Clam  package with an attached key chain and scraping knife. Keeping the Magnesium block and the handy Scraper knife together as a unit and easily carried with your other gear.

This is a great Magnesium fire starter block and it will last for some time between actually scraping the Magnesium shavings off with the little scraper knife included to actually starting a fire by striking it to make your emergency fire when stranded or while simply camping.

I've tried and tested several of these Magnesium Blocks and I must say this is by far the best I've tested.
