Navajo Rug Wall Hangers

     Designed for Navajo Weavings

Use a hidden hanger to display your Navajo weaving safely on the wall. There are no clamps, metal hooks or other harmful mechanisms that will damage your weaving.

Our hangers are solid wood with a full length strip of Velcro on one side, and a plastic-coated, stainless steel wire on the back. The wire hooks on a nail or screw in your wall, like a picture frame.

Velcro Works Best

Velcro is the safest way to display Navajo weavings- Thousands of tiny plastic "hooks" grab the wool fibers of the weaving and hold it securely. Our hidden hangers have a 2" strip of Velcro that will securely hold your weaving (larger sizes, have an extra strip of Velcro- see below).

Large Hanger Sizes 38"- 48"

Large rugs and weavings usually require more holding power than one 2" strip of Velcro, so we've added an extra 1" strip of Velcro to hangers larger than 36".

The larger size also has a longer wire with an extra pair of picture frame rings.  The long wire prevents the weaving from bending inward from the sides.

Extra Large Weavings Sizes 50"+

For weavings larger than 48" we recommend using 2 smaller hangers, side by side. For example, a 60" Yei would require two 28" hangers, or one 28" and one 30".

How to Order

Order a size slightly smaller than your weaving. For example, if your rug is 35" or 36", order a 34" hanger. If your weaving is 43" or 44", order a 42" hanger, etc.
