This postcard by Harry Payne (not signed but Tuck database credits him as the artist), is titled "Pipers of the Highland Light Infantry in the park on the march".   Card No. 8770.  The publisher is Raphael Tuck, part of "Regimental Bands" Series.  Not postally used, dates, I think to the 1910's.  There is a short printed paragraph on the reverse about the Regiment.

The card is in a very good condition.   Rubs at corners, tiny bit of surface paper loss at corners, tiny creases at corners, crease at left hand side of card,  light edge rubs with the odd tiny bump, the odd tiny surface paper chip at edges, light red curved line at bottom of right hand edge, the odd tiny mark to card, pencil note on reverse, light grubbiness on reverse with some small, light marks.  Please check scans carefully as they help with condition too.

Please note surface mail or first class inland mail options are always available, please ask for a quote.

Overseas postage - please note I only charge what it costs me to send the item.  I do pack my cards well to withstand a long journey and to try and ensure that they are well protected against damage and weather, this means that the package does not fit through the 5mm letter slot and is sent as a small parcel.  I can however send many postcards for the same cost as one.

I try to be accurate with my descriptions but if you have any questions please contact me.  Take a look at my other auctions and ebay shop items for more collectable items.
