PAIR GEORGIAN OLD SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATE WINE COOLERS c. 1820 

An exceptional pair of Georgian Old Sheffield Plate Wine Coolers each standing on a wide spread pedestal foot. The body of each cooler is embellished with applied leaf and vine patterning and the rims at the tops of the coolers and on the feet are embellished with chased leaf patterning. Each Cooler has an impressive pair of ornate hanndles. Each cooler is fitted with a removable insert embellished with a plain fluted pattern. Both Coolers have an engraved crest on the side

These coolers are in excellent condition. There is a small amount of copper peaking through at the extremities, in line with age.
