This new design water pump is bi-directional and fits both steel and composite timing chain covers on all small block GM V8 engines. Does not fit aluminum timing covers on 2008 and newer 4.3 V6 engines. Fits all 4.3 V6 engines with plastic or steel timing cover, 2007 and older. Fits all years and all makes of 5.0 and 5.7 GM marine V8 engines

• These pumps have a bronze impeller for marine use. Most aftermarket pumps have a cast iron impeller. These pumps come from the same factory that supplies Mercruiser. These are a OEM pumps without the OEM price.  These pumps are assembled in the USA!
