Nickel-Safe Ice Machine Cleaner removes scale, muck and slime which can cause bad taste and foul odors. Assures clean, cold, taste-free ice. Safe for nickel-plated surfaces. Food grade acid cleaner opens constricted water lines.


Nickel-Safe Ice Machine Cleaner is formulated to be the safest product for nickel-plated evaporators. It assures clean cold taste-free ice by stripping ice machines of scale, muck & slime. In cube or flake ice, these impurities can cause opacity, bad taste and foul odors.

APPLICATIONS Nickel-Safe Ice Machine Cleaner strips away scale, sludge and muck from ice forming surfaces and water lines. This specially formulated product removes impurities that cause cloudy, bad tasting and foul smelling ice.


INSTRUCTIONS 

READ ALL DIRECTIONS AND WARNINGS ON LABEL BEFORE USING

1) Wear safety goggles and rubber or plastic gloves. 2) Cut off refrigeration and water supply and bleed lines. Remove all ice from the machine. 3) Remove water trough, curtain, distribution tube and other parts which are contacted by water. 4) Mix 3 ounces of Nickel-Safe Ice Machine cleaner per gallon of warm water. Place machine parts into the solution and soak. Loosen the scale with a soft brush, if necessary. 5) Clean the storage bin and cabinet with a sponge or rag soaked with the solution. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. 6) Rinse the soaked parts with fresh water and replace them. Turn on water. 7) Add 5 ounces of Nickel-Safe Ice Machine Cleaner per gallon of water in the machine and circulate for at least 10 minutes, or until all scale is gone. Be sure that all drains are clear. 8) Drain all recirculating solution and flush with fresh water for at least 1 minute until all color is gone. Replace the drain plug. 9) To assure the highest quality ice, thoroughly rinse the bin with fresh water. 10) Restart the machine and discard the first batch of ice.
