Heathkit SB-630 Station Console Clock Number Restoration Kit - Expanded

Improved - Several new strips, more choices and to fit different clock speeds

One of the big problems restoring a Heathkit SB-630 Station Console
are the wheels of the clock mechanism. They are usually dirty and yellowed.

I have posted some before and after pictures. You may have already found
out the hard way that most cleaners will smear the ink right off of them. I have found
that with some  patience I could resurrect the motors but not the dials

After it happened to me I started to fool around trying to make replacements.
I tried paper and address labels in a printer, vinyl in a printer etc. Finally
I hired a graphic artist and had them professionally reproduced and screen
printed on vinyl.

Even that proved to be a problem because when you applied them the vinyl tended to
stretch slightly so they didn't fit perfectly. The vendor suggested that I laminate an
additional layer of clear on top of them which stopped the stretching. and they are now
perfected. If you use a modicum of care they will go right over your old clock wheels
and make them look like new
