DESCRIPTION:  1988 Australian Bicentenary First fleet Portland car badge for Holden Ford Austin Morris VW

A nice car badge from the Portland Vintage Car Club display at the First fleet reenactment at Portland that took place as part of the celebrations of the Australian bicentenary in 1988. It is a nicely made car badge of the period that reads "Portland Vintage Car Club Inc, First Fleet visit, March 1988 Victoria" and has an image of a tall ship. On the back it reads "Valued V.I.P. No. 71, Douglas badges". This metal car badge is in good original condition showing only minor surface marks. It has been stored carefully as part of a collection and has never been fitted onto a car. Measures approx 2 1/2 inches tall by approx 3 1/2 inches wide.
