An antistatic curved carbon tipped tweezers,  is an antistatic device used to safely ground a person working on very sensitive electronic equipment, to prevent the buildup of static electricity on their body, which can result in electrostatic discharge (ESD). It is used in the apple factory  by workers working on all apple products  which can be damaged by ESD, and also sometimes by people working around explosives, to prevent electric sparks which could set off an damage for components.. They are usually used in conjunction with an antistatic mat on the workbench, or a special static-dissipating plastic laminate on the workbench surface.

Conductive, synthetic carbon fiber reinforced PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) tips with non-magnetic stainless  steel grips.

Sturdy but soft and non-scratching. Clean room compatible, outstanding resistance to mineral and organic acids, solvents and halogens. Light weight, strong material with the following features:

Smooth surface paired to high mechanical strength and toughness
Anti static, ESD-safe material
Heat stabilized, continuous use with temperatures ranging from -40° to 150°C (-40 to 302°F)
High purity - clean room compatible
High abrasion resistance
Tips have excellent chemical resistance to most acids, solvents and halones
Tips resist HF (40% - 90°C / 194°F); HNO3 (50% - 90°C / 194°F); HCL (36% - 90°C / 194°F)
Resistant to UV and X-ray radiation
