The PIXMA MX922 Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Office Printer from Canon prints in black and white at 15 ipm, in color at 10 ipm, and can output a borderless 4.0 x 6.0" photo in 21 seconds. Print borderless photos right at home using the 9600 x 2400 color dpi. Use the automatic double-sided print feature to print on both sides of the page and cut your paper consumption by as much as 50%.
The built-in disc tray lets you design and print your own custom CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays. Its Full HD Movie Print feature takes a frame from an HD movie recorded on a compatible EOS, PowerShot, or VIXIA camera or camcorder and prints it as a photo, ensuring you never miss a photo opportunity while shooting video. Additionally, the included My Image Garden software helps organize your photos and includes features such as facial recognition, Fun Filters, Calendar Organization, and Automatic Layout Suggestion. As part of the Chromalife100+ system, the printer outputs borderless photos that last up to 300 years when printed with select Canon ink and paper and stored in an archival-quality photo album.
The MX922 features a scan resolution of up to 2400 x 4800 dpi optical. Scanning can be initiated from a computer or from the unit itself. The scanner automatically detects whether you are scanning a photo or document and applies the appropriate settings. Should the document or image need to be retouched, Auto Document Fix and Auto Photo Fix II correct issues such as faded text, over or under-exposure, and incorrect skin tones. The 35-sheet auto document feeder lets you scan, copy, and fax 2-sided multipage documents in a single step and can handle page sizes up to 8.5 x 14". Additionally, you can scan documents directly to Evernote and access and search them from any web-connected computer or device.
Use the built-in copy function to duplicate photos as well as documents. The copier can enlarge or shrink images and documents to anywhere between 25% and 400% of the original size and output up to 99 copies at a time. Additionally, the ADF can handle pages up to 8.5 x 14". Other copy features include Gutter Shadow Correction, Borderless Copy, and Auto Document Fix.
The 33.6 Kbps modem can be used to send and receive both black and white and color faxes. The MX922 includes 100 speed dial locations and a 250-page memory so you can receive faxes even when the unit is out of paper. Other fax features include Group Dialing, Redial, Remote Reception, and Answering Machine Connectivity.
In addition to USB connectivity, the MX922 includes wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity so other devices on your network can share the unit. The printer is compatible with AirPrint so you can print directly from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch without installing any drivers. You can also download the EasyPhoto-Print app to print and scan JPG and PDF files from compatible Apple and Android mobile devices.
