These zori are made of coated cloth in a lovely shibori-like pattern of tiny flowers. They are in excellent condition and the tops and straps look almost new. There is almost no real wear however the bottom of the soles show that they have been worn outside once (They have been cleaned and sterilized). They come in their original box. An absolutely lovely pair of zori!
They measure about 9” or 23cm long and the heal at the back is about 2” or 5 cm high. HOWEVER… the size of footwear in Japan is considered largely irrelelant as traditionally there was only one mens size and one womans size and you adjust your foot to the sandal rather than the sandal to your foot; so overhanging the heel by an inch or so is considered normal or even optimal…
