Born amidst a generation of Bluto-equipped bikes, the Popeye is meant to be a direct rigid replacement for that fork. Featuring the same tire clearance (5" tires!), 15×150 axle spacing, and tapered steerer tube as the Bluto, swapping forks for the season couldn’t be easier.  Our front axle is included.

While the Bluto is an excellent fork that we’re proud to spec on our bikes, there are conditions where its utility fades. Maine winters tend to boast those conditions frequently, and lots of riders elect to shelf their suspension fork in favor of a light and maintenance-free option. With no moving parts to freeze or fail, the Popeye is sure to keep you riding.

Featuring the classic chassis shared by most of our alloy steerer mountain bike forks, the Popeye has over 10 years of reliability in its DNA. At $299 and a mere 940g (without axle), Popeye is close to half the weight and under half the price of a Bluto.

USPS First Class Mail - Usually 2-3 business days.
UPS Ground - Usually 1-6 business days.
USPS International Priority - Approximately 6-12 business days (Customs time not included).
USPS International First Class - Approximately 6-25 business days (Customs time not included).

We have had instances where shipments have taken much longer than the USPS indicates on their website.  We make no assertion nor take any responsibility on the delivery time via USPS. As stated in the shipping contract above, we are released of any liability, including but not limited to arrival time, once we deliver your package to the USPS.

“Business Day” refers to a non-holiday weekday. Shipment times begin the day after your purchase. If you purchase a product on a Friday and the following Monday is a holiday, your product could be shipped out on the following Thursday at the latest without breaking our shipping agreement. That said, we frequently ship items on the day of their purchase.

If your package has been delivered to the USPS, we’ve done our part and we can be of no help to you in tracking or locating your package.
