 BRAND NEW SET OF  CRASH MUSHROOMS PRECISION MACHINED FROM HIGH DENSITY ACETAL ( CESTILENE HD500) SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR CRASH MUSHROOMS:-

    THE  FRAME MUSHROOMS  ARE MADE FROM HIGH DENSITY ACETAL AND COME  COMPLETE WITH M10 X 1.25 DE-EMBRITTLED (WILL NOT SNAP ONLY BEND) FINE PITCH BOLT. NOT CHEAP RUBBISH AS MANY OTHER PEOPLE SELL ON EBAY.

    SIZE OF THE MUSHROOM NYLON 45mm DIAMETER X 95mm max. protrude from frame 80mm.

     

  • This set of sliders will fit on a 96-05 gsxr 600, 96-05 gsxr 750, and a 01-04 gsxr 1000 sportbike.  This kit bolts right on, with slight modifications to the left fairing required on some models. If the left engine mount is exposed, no cutting is required. These sliders bolt into the upper engine mount, replacing the existing bolts.

    NO fairing cutting on these models:

    • 96-00 GSXR 600
    • 96-99 GSXR 750
    • 03-04 GSXR 1000

    You MUST CUT the left fairing on these models:

    • 01-05 GSXR 600
    • 00-05 GSXR 750
    • 01-02 GSXR 1000
    • 99-05 HAYABUSA

     

    Installation Instructions: Remove your fairings, and find the engine mount locations where the sliders fit. They are made for a specific location. They will only fit in one place, and in one orientation. Once you have the sliders mounted, you need to cut the fairings so that the sliders stick out of the fairing if cutting is necessary. 

    REMOVE FAIRING AND PAINT END OF BOLT

    OFFER FAIRING ON TO THE BIKE - BOLT WILL LEAVE A MARK ON INSIDE OF FAIRING

    PILOT DRILL AND CHECK IF IN CORRECT POSITION

    USE A CONE CUTTER TO DRILL OUT TO DESIRED DIAMETER COMING FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE FAIRING

    REMOUNT FAIRING AND CRASH MUSHROOMS

I bought these back in 2009 and the fit was perfect. Jon was really helpful and sent me an extra crash bung free of charge after I managed to loose one. Today my front end washed out on me on my gsxr600 at around 20mph. The bike slid for about 5 meters before coming to a halt and apart from the crash bung, there is not damage to my bike at all. Highly recommend

I bought a full set of bungs for my FZ1 in December 2008 and fitted them straight away. This is one product you hope and pray will never need to be used; but sadly, last night, my bike went for a slide down the road. The bungs did their job perfectly. No damage to the main fairing, slight scrape on the front brake lever and exhaust. The rear brake lever folded in two however; but the important thing to me was I have been saved a lot of expense and I was able to ride the bike home afterwards. I'm glad I invested in these.

Just thrown my FJR 1300 down the road at 5mph. 20 foot slide and NO DAMAGE TO MY FAIRING AT ALL. Nasty ding in my exhaust tho ! Thank you, what a fantastic product...

Crash bungs are superb. Fitted them with ease. Look the business. Hope i don't need to "use" them but they give me the peace of mind should the unfortunate happen. Will recommend to all my biker friends.
