  • Resistant to amny oils, greases, diesel, petrol and cleaning fluids
  • Increased surface hardness

  • COME WITH ALL FASTENERS REQUIRED

    THE  FRAME MUSHROOMS  ARE MADE FROM HIGH DENSITY ACETAL AND COME  COMPLETE WITH M10 X 1.25 DE-EMBRITTLED (WILL NOT SNAP ONLY BEND)  BOLT. SIZE OF THE MUSHROOM ACETAL 50MM DIAMETER X 70MM LONG. SIZE OF ALUMINIUM SPACER IS 27MM BOTH SIDES.  GIVING A TOTAL LENGTH OF 97MM.

Hi Jon,
Further to phone conversation earlier, here are some photos of my Street Triple after a slow speed (about 30mph) low-side when I hit ice on the way to work last week.
It slid down the road on the large crash bung, alternator cover, and pillion foot-peg hanger and bar end.  The crash bung saved me hundreds. Alternator cover is badly scratched but still sound. No damage to the tank, swingarm or exhaust, which would have cost hundreds.  Wish I had fitted bar ends and an alternator protector (R&G?).  Nothing I could have done about the pillion footrest hanger but that’s not too expensive.  Very happy I invested in CRASH MUSHROOMS kit for my bike!
If you’re happy to replace the damaged mushrooms, you can see from the photos that the damage is on the front left hand engine one, and a little on the left rear axle protector.

 AND ANOTHER TEST PILOT

Just writing to say how good the mushrooms were at protecting my bike! It was a fairly low speed lowside over diesel, around 25mph, and the mushrooms did a really good job! All I had to replace was brake levers and an indicator, it would of been much worse if it weren't for the protection. Was a little worried of the quality because the price is so cheap, but I'm totally impressed and will recommend these to anybody now.

I purchased the full street triple kit through your eBay shop (24/6/2014) so hope I am still eligible for the scrappage scheme!

I bought these back in 2009 and the fit was perfect. Jon was really helpful and sent me an extra crash bung free of charge after I managed to loose one. Today my front end washed out on me on my gsxr600 at around 20mph. The bike slid for about 5 meters before coming to a halt and apart from the crash bung, there is not damage to my bike at all. Highly recommend

I bought a full set of bungs for my FZ1 in December 2008 and fitted them straight away. This is one product you hope and pray will never need to be used; but sadly, last night, my bike went for a slide down the road. The bungs did their job perfectly. No damage to the main fairing, slight scrape on the front brake lever and exhaust. The rear brake lever folded in two however; but the important thing to me was I have been saved a lot of expense and I was able to ride the bike home afterwards. I'm glad I invested in these.

Just thrown my FJR 1300 down the road at 5mph. 20 foot slide and NO DAMAGE TO MY FAIRING AT ALL. Nasty ding in my exhaust tho ! Thank you, what a fantastic product...

Crash bungs are superb. Fitted them with ease. Look the business. Hope i don't need to "use" them but they give me the peace of mind should the unfortunate happen. Will recommend to all my biker friends.
