This OBDII cable replacement WILL NOT fix any functional or electrical issues may be related to your Smart Box PCB being damaged. You will use your same Smart Box 3421-88.

This is an After Market Compatible Cable
Works for OTC Genisys, EVO, Matco Determinator, Nemisys, Mac Tools Mentor and ALL SPX/Genisys Diag equipment that use the OBDII Smart Cable 3421-88.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Remove expansion port from Smart Cable (very important or else you will damage)
2) Remove 4 Philips screws
3) Remove bottom cover and take green PCB board out; handle PCB by its edges try not to touch small components
4) Remove the 16-pin OBDII old cable from smaller 16-pin connector on the green board (Just pull, if its hard move side by side).
5) Insert new OBDII cable in (Might be hard to get in because of new pins) – Make sure center tab on connector fits into the open notch on the PCB connector.
6) Insert cable relief rubber connectors inside case cutout box inserts, and then slowly push PCB board in. Picture #8
7) Insert bottom cover, make sure all 4 hole screw align in order for cover to closes properly
8) Insert screws and Expansion Port
9) YOU ARE DONE!
