This exclusive Sprenger design dog brush is made from oiled pear wood and has an ergonomic brush corpus with silky smooth surfaces and comfortably rounded edges.  Pear wood is a fine grained hardwood, much loved  by designer craftsmen for the fine uniform texture and subtle colour of the wood, the hardness of the wood allows for detailed and intricate shapes to be carved.  The pear wood is sourced through sustainable farming.

The brush has a longer corpus for comfortable handling and measures 24cm / 9.5" in length by 6.5cm / 2.5" wide.  The bristles are made from steel pins 20mm / 0.75 inch long on a rubber pad .  The finished tips make this brush suitable for every day care and do not have a plastic ball on the end of the pins which prevents them tangling in the fur.  Ideal for a first brushing especially on double coated dog breeds before using a bristle brush to finish the coat.
