A Brief Summary of S7 EDGE Cracked Glass Repair Process

Firstly due to the thinness of S7 edge screen, you will not disassemble the phone. Back Part of the phone would give support to the thin lcd and will reduce chances of breaking during repairs. Secondly & most importantly you have to have patience for this repair.
Start heating the screen from top and heat it to a point where you can’t place your fingers for no more than 1-2 seconds After that you will insert the metal blade under the glass from the top and move it horizontally from left to right under the top border area to make an opening for the wire. But don’t bring it to down especially in the display area. Once an opening is there, insert the golden wire gently from top left and right.Heat again if needed here.
Use Golden Wire (Provided) / Play Cards to Separate the Cracked Glass
Note that if the cracked pieces are of small or moderate size , you may also use play cards however if the glass has larger cracks, insert the wire (provided in the kit) after heating. Your left hand’s finger tips would serve as thermometer and your right hand would hold hot air gun or hair dryer. Keep heating and gently bringing down the wire / play card unless you reach at the bottom. Note that you have to AVOID FORCE AT ALL COSTS. Force is used in cases when the glass temperature has come down causing the old melted glue to dry again so you have to exert power. In such situations be patient and heat again and keep repeating this process. The glass would come off.
Clean it with the cleaner provided. Instructions written over bottle .Use metal blade(after dipping into cleaner) or plastic blade to clean the screen and then lint free polishing clothes to wipe off and dry the screen.
Bonding the New Glass
Once the screen is clean, UV glue would be spread in a pattern. Check this image. Then the glass would be carefully kept over the glue to avoid bubbles. Once placed completely, give it 5 minutes and the glue will spread itself under the screen evenly in all directions. Once it is spread, you can start to cure (dry) it using UV Torch.
Drying the UV GLUE
Use the torch provided 1st on the 4 corners of screen. The reason is that the glue usually comes back from the corner. So hold the glue in the corner and use UV torch for 30-60 Seconds and the glue will dry there. Once all 4 corners are set, middle area is easy to manage. You may randomly move the torch over the whole screen for 10-15 minutes. We strongly recommend that for complete dryness of the glue, place the phone in Sun rays for around 20-30 minutes and its DONE!
