We are happy to offer this stunning bentwood ring made of Bubinga Wood. Each ring is handmade to order, so each will have a unique grain pattern and color. You ring will truly be one of a kind!

***When you purchase you must specify your ring size. Our rings are available in sizes 4 - 13, including half sizes. Ebay has a place when you pay to leave a note for the seller. Please use that space to tell us your ring size. If you do not give us the needed information then we will not be able to craft your ring.***

Notes about our process:

To make a bentwood ring we start with very thin sheets of wood. That wood is bent around a spacer that is the same size as your ring's size, forming a perfect circle and perfect fit. Each layer is carefully glued to the previous one, forming an almost composite material that ends up being very light and strong.

After the layering is complete we then work on shaping and finishing your ring. Beyond the initial bending we don't force the wood into a size. Instead, we work with what the wood gives us with its grain. We try to remember that this wood was once a living thing. Each piece is unique, so we respect each ring's grain pattern. This means that the actual width of the ring will vary. Smalled sized rings will generally have a width between 4mm and 6mm. Larger sized rings will generally be between 7mm and 10mm. Inner edges are also rounded for a more comfortable fit.

Once the ring has its final shape, we fine sand it, oil the wood, and apply several layers of water-resistant finish to the ring. We then do a final polish and your ring is ready to go!

Notes about strength and care:

Bentwood rings are the strongest type of wood ring. That said, it's still not metal and it can break. The ring will stand up to normal use without issue. To get the best life out of it we do recommend that you not wear it while showering, doing dishes, swimming, and other activities where prolonged exposure to water or chemicals would happen. You should also avoid applying weight to the ring.

Care for the ring is simple. Light buffing with a microfiber cloth keeps it looking nice. If you want to add a little shine, buff it with a little bit of olive oil.

Note on sizing:

Bentwood rings cannot be resized. Please be sure of the ring size before you order. If you need help determining your ring size, there are many third party websites with tools that can help you. Even better, please consider visiting the jewelry counter at a local store and ask them to size you. They will do it for free. These rings are hand-crafted per order. We are not able to issue a refund if you order the wrong size.
