Woman's Vintage Wool/Fur Cape

Beautiful genuine full pelt Karakul sheep's wool cape design with slot inserts at sleeves in excellent preowned condition.

The fur is in very good condition, is smooth and shiny with curly/wavy flat pattern indicative of high end karakul (sometimes called swakara) . This gorgeous piece was most likely made in the 1930s or 1940s, when they were all the rage.

The only label is that of the furrier, Dubin Furriers, and the black satin lining showing dancers, is in excellent condition. There are two straps inside made of the same lining material, which the arms slip through to the cape slots on either side. There are also three furrier closures on the front opening (see pics).

This is a very elegant cape that would look amazing with anything, formal, dress-up, or jeans.
