Knit your own Chocolate Cake and Cut Slice!

This is an original knitting pattern to make this fabulous chocolate gateau, complete with wedge of filling and swirls of icing on top. This cake has just been cut and there's a slice ready for you.

There are two separate patterns for the price of one: a pattern for the cake, and a pattern for the slice.

These are original designs from Knitting Revolution.

The pattern is in knit and purl stitches, with cardboard inserts and a light stuffing. The main body of the cake is worked on 4 double pins in the round.   

It would make a great centrepiece for your knitted tea party! 

Finished cake measures 10 cm high, and 16 cm diameter.

The pattern will be printed out in black type on white paper, with colour picture as above.  It is in booklet form, A5 size. 

NB: this is not a photocopied pattern - I print each pattern to order using my home inkjet printer.  NB: It is only a basic printer, so I am unable to achieve excellent print quality on the colour picture, however the design and the pattern are all my own and the pattern works!

I will post it to you in a board-backed A5 envelope to keep it flat.
