Their graceful blades are hand-forged from 1095 high-carbon steel and fire-etched for a "poor man's Damascus" look. And there's additional blade styling, with a fancy, pierced choil and decorative filing adorning the back of each blade. The curly maple handles are shaped for comfort. The scales have a nice, dark stain with a durable oil finish, giving each knife a nice patina finish for an overall antiqued appearance. Each knife comes with a welted, heavy leather sheath.
