Bifocal glasses have the magnification in a semi circle in the lower area of the lens, the remainder is clear of magnification for distance viewing. Bifocals are ideal if you prefer not to take glasses on and off for close use and then distance.
Multiple pairs are ideal if you want to have a pair in the car, on your desk, in your bag, or in several rooms of the house! Much more efficient than spending 20 minutes looking for a pair of glasses everytime you need to see something up close!
