Very rare Houston Pen co fountain pen. This unique lever action pen has a Gold “Huston F.P.CO” “6” nib. The barrel and cap are made from a beautiful redwood bake-lite and the components are gold filled. A well-constructed pen that has beautiful tree ring end caps on barrel and cap.


the Houston Pen Company was Founded around 1908 in Tracy, Minnesota by William A. Houston. Mr. Houston was a barber in Tracy, who changed professions and became a traveling salesman. Fountain pens were one of the products he sold and had an avid interest in. In 1908 he successfully patented his first pen and began production in or around 1912.
