How does the PowerBox work?
The TD-U PowerBox is digital and consists of a microprocessor housed in a shock-resistant casing. The unit is installed directly to the ECU (Electronic Control Unit). The PowerBox intercepts the signals that pass back and forth and modifies them to create an increase in power by altering the timing and duration of injection. Our PowerBox provides up to 30% more horsepower (HP) and torque (results vary by make and model).
Power adjustment setting
The PowerBox TD-U has been preset; however, it may be adjusted further, depending upon the desired power gain. The power adjustment screw has 25 revolutions, and it has been pre-set to the approximate center of the adjustment range, which represents 70% of the available power.
