Die Hauptaspekte liegen in der Balance zwischen Aerodynamischer Effizienz und Lufteingangstemperatur. Es wurde ein offenes System gewählt allerdings mit Unterschieden zu anderen Airboxen aus dem Zubehör. Das ist an der Form des Carbongehäuses sowie der Position und Form des Luftfilters zu erkennen. Die Airbox wird im Prepreg-Carbon-Verfahren hergestellt. Das Intake generiert durch die einzigartige Bauform +30-38 PS. Der umgedrehte kegelförmige Filter sorgt dafür, dass ein gleichmäßig laminarer Luftstrom entsteht, was Venturi Effekt genannt wird. Der Leistungszuwachs ist bei dem Jaguar F-Type Ansaugsystem deshalb so groß, weil das Seriensystem suboptimal gestaltet ist. We have replaced the standard airboxes and resonator tubes with our Patent Pending filter housings mated to bespoke carbon fibre tubes. To ensure a smooth airflow path, our tubes are matched in diameter to the stock MAF sensor tubes downstream and then matched again to the engine inlet tubes upstream. The combination of our Eventuri housings and tubes improve the aerodynamic efficiency of the inlet track resulting in significant increase of power and torque. This is a stand-alone upgrade which requires no further tuning. |
