Description:

The SD GlucoNavii® GDH blood sugar measuring device and the associated accessories are intended to determine the level of sugar (glucose) in the blood. The sugar levels can with fresh capillary blood or fresh venous blood be determined. The measurement is carried out outside the body (in vitro diagnostic application).
This system is intended for self-monitoring of blood sugar by people with diabetes but can also be used in a clinical environment by professional users to monitor the effectiveness of diabetes therapy.
The requirement of the new din EN ISO 15197:2013 is met by the SD GlucoNavii® Blood glucose monitoring system fulfilled. This speaks primarily for the system accuracy and precision of the glucose measurement.
The wide hematocrit range from 0 to 70% also allows use in patients with anemia (e.g. dialysis) or cardiovascular diseases.

Features:

Hypoglycemia warning:

  • You can set the meter to warn you if the test result suggests low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
  • You can also set the blood sugar concentration at which this display should occur
  • If your measurement result is lower than the set concentration, the “hypo” symbol will be displayed and a beep will signal that you should take action to correct the hypoglycemia

Setting reminder alarm after meal:

This alarm can be used if you want to be reminded to take a blood glucose test after eating.

You can use this alarm function on the meter to remind you of specific times to measure your blood sugar.

Device memory:

The meter automatically stores 500 blood glucose readings. You can access these starting with the most recent result and continuing up to the oldest saved measurement. If you have set the date and time correctly, the results will be displayed with the corresponding date and time of the measurement. When the memory is full and another result needs to be added, the oldest reading is deleted.
The meter automatically calculates the 7, 14 and 30 day averages of the stored readings depending on the measurement mode selected: 1) normal, 2) before eating and 3) after eating.

Note on returns:
Blood sugar measuring devices are subject to the regulations of the Medical Devices Act: they may not be remanufactured and placed on the market again.
The test strip packs or -cans are brand new and sealed by the manufacturer.
A return is therefore excluded if the measuring device has been used and/or the seal on the test strips has been damaged or opened.
