This kit is intended for the Early D7 (1959-65) Whitworth threaded engines before ED-4501. Later models used the finer BSF thread 26 TPI, which is not compatible with this kit. Please check your engine BEFORE ordering to avoid disappointment The vehicle compatibility chart is offered as a guide only and may not accurately reflect your bike's actual engine - especially after 60 years of tinkering, restoration and engine swaps!!! If you require a kit for a D5 Bantam engine (1958) please let me know and I will send the appropriate kit (they are similar but with some difference)
