This framed and glazed original watercolour features the statue of Sir Stamford Raffles located in the gardens of the Asian Civilisations Museum on the banks of the Singapore River in Singapore. Raffles founded a settlement here in 1819. The statue is framed by a west wing of the Asian Civilisations Museum that was originally built in 1867 as a court house and government offices.  It was, and is still a grand and regal building thathas been beautifully restored and maintained by the Singapore Government.  This study was painted by local Perth artist Hadyn Kiesey whose work sells throughout Australia and overseas.  The image size is 19 cm x 14 cm. The framed and glazed work is 32.5  cm x 27.5  cm.  The painting is new and in excellent condition.    The mat white frame and white mat, ideally compliments the picture.  The painting is offered with free express postage in Australia.
