Description ~

Jatamansi (Muskroot - Spikenard) is considered as the sacred locks of Shiva.  Jatamansi is found in the altitude of about 3,000 to 5,000 m (9,800 to 16,400 ft) not far from mount Kailash.  It is a very sacred item used in all types of tantric magic (positive/negative). It is a very fragrant ingredient used in many herbal remedies especially in sacred incense blends all over Asia.

Shiva - a complex character, but also has a darker side as the leader of evil spirits, ghosts and vampires.  Shiva has many benevolent and fearsome depictions.  In benevolent aspects, he is depicted as an omniscient Yogi who lives an ascetic life on Mount Kailash.  He represents goodness and serves as the protector.  In his fierce aspects, he is often depicted slaying demons.  Shiva is also regarded as the patron god of Yoga, Meditation, tantric rituals, magical spells and arts.

Hence it is believed that evil spirits ghosts vampires jins etc cannot dare cause harm to those that possess the activated hair lock "Jatamansi root" of Shiva.

Please note: If you are buying from outside the UK you will need to check with your countries customs to make sure they allow herbs to be imported. Some countries have strict rules and will seize them. Sadly we cannot refund if this is the case so please check before buying!

We post out Monday to Saturday (except Bank Holidays) around 3pm to 6pm, we use Royal Mail second class signed for most of our items. We can only post to the address given on your paypal payment so please make sure this is correct.
