Large brass antique reproduction padlock. British Made Brand new in original packaging (not shown in photos I am afraid ) model no 770 Brass plated body Old English Squire padlock features a 7 cm wide body 17 mm thick lock body and 10 mm thick diameter hardened steel shackle with a 4 lever locking mechanism comes with a set of 2 keys,the brass plated body is designed to resist rust and may be used under normal outdoor conditions as well as the harsher marine type enviroments.  This is the Brass cousin of the Glavanised steel squire lock of the same size which I will sell on this store at a different price in a seperate listing is also a rather pretty and ornamental feature item that looks good on both outdoor and indoor settings as well for rustic and antique looking chests and cabinets as well as gates sheds and doors.     

               Still made by the same manufacturer since the 1800's to the original pattern these padlocks are really the exact reproduction with one or two modifcations of the original 1800's antique style type padlocks ,rare to be still made by the original manufacturer. They are original British made not Chinese or Indian reproductions,I have still a limited number of these padlocks that I imported from the UK some years ago that I release in limited quantity batches so get them while you can.
