Vintage C.G. Conn Nickel Plate Lester Young Era Tenor Sax - Excellent Original Condition

original finish is in virtually all intact with no wear on the body, though there are some minor surface blemishes throughout- see photos;

Body:

the physical body is in very good condition, with only some very mild dings which are hardly noticeable; (see photos);

Neck:

neck is in very good condition, no issues, with only a very very slight pull down bend (see photos);  there is one spot of plating wear on the underside of the neck, which is visible in the photos;


Pads:

pads are virtually new and the horn plays great (though may need some minor adjustment and regulation, after being jostled in shipping);  pads were replaced using flat metal resonators (however the low Eb key pad has been changed recently and has a Selmer-style brown plastic resonator);

Further:

the G# table key, and a few other touch spots on the horn, are covered with a thin rough paper, to prevent the fingers from slipping while playing; these are glued on, but can be removed (see photos);

needs some light cleaning and polishing;

no mouthpiece;

no case.
