1994 YVES SAINT LAURENT  CHAMPAGNE ~ Eau de Toilette ~ 50ml 1.7 A mere couple of mls or two missing from the days when I used to sell decants, the bottle stands at 9.8cm (3.7")

This is the first formula Champagne, shockingly potent & smells out of this world.

Almost impossible to find  being that all bottles titled "Champagne" were removed from the shelves shortly after release due to trademark infringement over the the use of the title "Champagne".

There was a huge court battle during which time  YSL released the perfume in boxes with no name or the even rarer Red Chalk mark box (one of which I have listed, Yves Saint Laurent deeming it is fit snub to the Champagne manufacturers who had taken YSL to court), the bottles simply having Yves Saint Laurent printed on them as seen in my photos, they are incredibly rare & I have just listed a sealed box.

Champagne was later re-released as Yvresse (which actually means drunk, in French) .  Yves saint Laurent said it was the best publicity the fragrance could of had.

This smells exactly as did the Elderflower Champagne made for us by a local farmers wife over 30 years ago, and in my not so humble opinion is probably the most beautifully fragranced of all YSL's fragrances, this has been kept properly stored & smells out of this world, I have sold countless Champagnes over the years, & have never come across a bad bottle.
