Now available, a Fender compatible Gold neckplate. This is for one New, bright shiny, or Aged Relic style neckplate. Just let me know which you prefer when you give me the number you would like stamped, Also this plate is available only available in the more contemporary thickness, about .072.
Sorry about the photos. photographing a mirror surface is darn near impossible.... However, the neckplate is a brand new Gold Plated piece.
What if, I found the same kind of machine Leo used in Fullerton in the 50's and 60's... Hummmmm Take a good long look at the photo and consider..... While there are others offering numbered plates, suggesting their's are more accurate, I submit, I have been making these available for 15 years, and it took me that long to find the same type machine Fender used 50 years ago, and it was as difficult to find out the type machine used. If it's possible to get more accurate than that, I'd be interested. Take a good long look.
While there are others offering numbered plates, suggesting their plates are more accurate, using Diamond engraving or Laser engravers, I submit, Leo had neither from the 50's through the 80's. He used the same mechanical stamping process I use. There IS a difference.
