Difalco H.O. controllers are used by multiple time HOPRA National Champion Roger Porcelli. At the 2017 HOPRA Nationals Roger won the super stock and unlimited classes as well as taking a 2nd and 4th place in 2 other classes. His performance with his Difalco controllers led to the Overall Grand Championship for 2017! Congratulations Roger from Difalco Design.

Our T-jet/Fray controllers are used by super fast racer Hiram Durant of the ECCHOR racing club.

NEO H.O. CONTROLLERS

TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS

Computer designed and labeled circuit board. Wiper bands are nickel plated for durability.

Exclusive routed fiberglass frame is separate from the circuit board electronics. This allows for inexpensive upgrades in the future by simply replacing the circuit board.

Adjustable braking and sensitivity rheostats provide a wide adjustment range to match your car, track and driver characteristics for optimal racing performance.

"E"lectronic auto reset brake and power fuses with reverse diode protection for reliability.

High amp transistor design is virtually maintenance free.

Acu-Pivot trigger pin with trigger ball bearings are standard! Ball bearings keep the wiper button firmly in contact with the wiper bands with zero trigger side play even after years of racing.

Rounded wiper button for pinpoint selection of the correct wiper band and reduced friction.

All our designs can be serviced, repaired or upgraded by any racer. No returning to the factory, like other controllers! This is important if you want to avoid other manufacturers costly repair bills or if you are in another country.

Parma style handles are standard on all Difalco controllers. They are more comfortable to hold than that square handle brand! Do not be fooled by off brand handles that are flimsy and will flex in your hand and crack in a couple years!

Neo H.O. controllers come standard with dual polarity.

 GENESIS NEO CONTROLLERS

DD506: Neo HD30 controller. Special slower response DD282 network is installed especially designed for T-jet and Fray type motors. 30 band design provides excellent speed control in the turns. Optional plug in resistor networks allow the racer to tweak the power curve to best match your type motor, track and driving style. Difalco Neo controllers blow all similarly priced controllers out of the water! Packed with features only found on more expensive controllers. Neo controllers feature dual polarity as standard and will work on 2 or 3 wire hookup tracks. Extra long 14 ga wires with clear insulation for outstanding power and looks. Our ball bearing trigger provides silky smooth trigger action. Wide range sensitivity and brake rheostats w/ traction control. $169.00

* Our 30 band design with optional plug in networks (pictured above) allows racers to tune our controller for a wider variety of motors. The standard network that comes with this controller is designed for T-jet and Fray type motors. We do have our standard DD262 network ($18.50) available that we recommend for all other H.O. type cars.

FEATURES TO THINK ABOUT BEFORE YOU BUY ANOTHER CONTROLLER

POWER:

*No inline fuses! We do not put a fuse on our main power lines. Not only does this add resistance to the power circuit it also means you are depending on a cheap fuse block to maintain contact with the fuse. If your ATC mini inline fuse blows your race will be over while you leave the track to replace it. We fuse our transistor outputs and brake line with electronic auto reset fuses that start working as soon as the short circuit is corrected.

*Our controller uses a simple terminal setup to switch between positive and negative polarity. Make sure you have this feature.

MECHANICAL:

*We use a ball bearing trigger with our special threaded trigger pin and adjustable locknut. They claim that their "specially designed pivot rivet provides a snug fit...eliminating the need for aftermarket bearings". I say bull. They use a standard Parma trigger pin. It not only has plenty of side play but as the controller is used the nylon trigger hole will enlarge and the bearings will wear. Our ball bearings are shimmed so there is zero side play. Our adjustable nut means when the nylon trigger eventually compresses a slight turn will eliminate all side play in our controller.

*We use a rounded wiper button with a very small contract area on the bands. This reduces friction and means that the wiper button is only in contact with a couple bands at any one time. They say they have a "flexible wiper arm", but they also use a flat wiper button. We learned a long time ago that it is impossible to keep a flat wiper button in perfect contact with flat wiper bands. The second you put any side pressure on the trigger you lift up the top, bottom, front or back of the wiper button. So instead of contacting the band on the front edge of the button you are now contacting the band in the middle of the wiper button. Now you just put the wrong amount of power to your car.
